Lovely Abodes

For our tenth post we are trying something new and exciting. Each of us has selected one of our favorite styles of houses, and you get to guess who likes which one best. If you live in the vicinity, all the people who guess all right are invited over for dinner. If you live in the vicinity and you miss one or two or three or four you may come over for dinner anyway if you would like. We practice pretty open hospitality around here.

Darn it Kris and Mom; you guessed exactly what I was going to guess. I guess I will just seccond your vote.

Jessica: #4 - countryside with barns, though not dilapidated
Mia: #1 for being the calm one?
Sara: #2 makes most sense because it could be in town, but I also thought
Kara: #2 - being unusual, with growing things and possibly reminiscent of Roman courtyards
#3 who wouldn't like a cottage in the woods?

Honestly, I don't have much to go on. None of these were purple, and it's hard to be unbiased after reading mother and sister's (and now brother's) votes.

I swear I thought of that before I looked at Kris or Mom or Andrew. Josh can vouch for me.

Mia wouldn't like a little a-frame cabin in the woods. When she saw that one she exclaimed, "That is so ugly!"

I don't think anyone ever said she would.

keith, i don't really want to own a dilapidated barn--it would be pretty useless. i just think they are very picturesque and beautiful in landscapes.
